OnCoRe Blueprint

The OnCoRe (Online Content Repository) Blueprint Project is an initiative to create a sustainable
national model for the creation of statewide digital repositories. Funded by a grant from the Fund for the Improvement of Postsecondary Education (FIPSE), the OnCoRe Blueprint Project provides state entities with a “how to” manual, resources, and research for developing a standards-based educational repository.

OnCoRe Blueprint Webinar Series

As an ongoing part of the OnCoRe Blueprint Project, we will be offering a series of webinars that focus on some of the issues surrounding repositories and repository development.  These sessions will feature guest speakers with expertise in each topic.  The webinars will be conducted via Elluminate and all are welcome to attend.

We hope that you will join us in this exciting forum to share best practices, discover effective strategies to address repository issues, and explore what the future holds for this dynamic and rapidly expanding field.

Upcoming sessions:

  • Connexions — TBA
Joel Thierstein, Executive Director, Connexions will discuss what Rice University's Connexions is doing relative to:
      • Making open textbooks editable/customizable
      • Formatting open textbooks for delivery on multiple devices
      • Encouraging open textbook adoption
