The OnCoRe Blueprint project of the FDLC is currently seeking a pilot partner who will use the OnCoRe Blueprint to plan, develop, and implement a statewide digital content repository for their state and evaluate the success of the initial implementation. The pilot partner site will be selected by June 15, 2007. Thereafter, implementation of the blueprint will begin and be conducted on a mutually acceptable schedule.

Staff members from the OnCoRe Blueprint Project will visit prospective sites to meet with the parties involved to discuss the proposed implementation of the OnCoRe Blueprint and to learn about the context for implementation. Pilot partners will be asked to share repository-related policies and procedures that they may have already developed during preliminary planning, and throughout the implementation process. These documents may be used to refine and strengthen the blueprint for future use.

This questionnaire will allow the OnCoRe Project Team to capture a “snapshot” of where your state is in the development process for a repository. It is not necessary for potential pilot sites to have taken all of the steps mentioned below. If you are just at the beginning of your development process and some of these questions pertain to areas you have not yet addressed, please indicate that. It will not affect your consideration as a possible pilot partner. Please try to keep your answers relatively brief. The deadline to submit your survey is May 15, 2007.
